Ways of Sending Large Files

In past information could be send via letter which is now replaced by email. This email system is also providing some opportunity to send data to any person staying far away. In past data was send by percale which was very time consuming. We can say that modern technology makes our life very comfortable and create an easy as well as faster communication system. In recent time a large amount of file may be sent to other person using Email, FTP and MFT process.
Email
Recent time email is most used file transfer system. You can send or exchange your necessary files via email very easily. Email system will provide you the opportunity to send digital information and others. Here you can send files up to a limit. Suppose the email service provider can allow you to send file which is 10 megabytes. At a time some famous service provider such as Gmail and yahoo will allow to send you 25 megabytes of files including email, attached files and header. If your size limits cross 25 megabytes then you will not be able to send the mail. You can also face some other problems such as the service provider can block your email sending option. There can be another problem in email system that your file format can be rejected.
File Transfer Protocol (FTP)
This is a very old system of sending large attachment without using email system. This is a networking system which is consisted of thousands of interconnected computers which will allow you to share large files between different computers. FTP system is not easy as email system. In this system both recipient and sender have to install some specialized software. Here you can face some security problem which is not found in email system. Here the files are sending and uploaded in plain language and form so there is no arrangement of encryption protocol. That can cause sharing of your very confidential files which are not for sharing. So anyone can hack your computer. Here all computers are interconnected and anyone can take the control of your computer by knowing your password or breaking your password.
Managed File Transfer (MFT)
MFT is a file transfer system like FTP but in some cases different from FTP. Here you have to be the subscriber of this system for sending large files. Here you have to pay monthly otherwise yearly basis fees to take the service. Here both parties do not need to install same specialized software. There are some MFT service providers who render their service in free of cost. When the sender sends you a file then an email will be send to the receiver which contains a link. Then you have to download this file to your hard drive. After that you will be able to get the sent large files.
Any person can send large amount of file to another person by following the above mentioned ways. Here the email is very easy way of sending large files but it has limitation which is sometimes bad for sender. The FTP system allows you to send any amount of file but is has some problem in case of ensuring security. At last MFT is much secured and allow sending large files but this system is very costly and has some complexity.
